I've tried DXO's ViewPoint2 with some success, but didn't give it a real workout yet. I don't have some options in the way of apps that Windows users do, but used Hugin for a bit with great success (only it stopped working on my machine all of a sudden). I'm just not certain how easy it is to 'de-fish' the Panasonic 8mm. However I prefer the Panasonic and the AF and electronic aperture control it gives the user.
